Description
Sorry it's a bit boring, (the usual side shot, going right to left). One day, when I have more time, Ill try something more ambitious.Based proportionally on a skeletal drawing in the description of Rinconsaurus. It's not the most complete animal, its head for example is very fragmentary, so I’ve based it off Mark Halletts' Rapetosaurus.
Update: There used to be two versions, a pencil version and the digitally coloured version. I have gotten rid of the pencil version because every time I update this I have adjust two different versions, then composite them together, which is a pain. Also I greatly prefer the colour version.
The old pencil version of this image can be seen here: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia…
There is a newer version of this image here: steveoc86.deviantart.com/art/R…

Nice job. I know many dinosaur names but I have never heard of rinconsaurus. Oh if you are interested in dinosaurs check out the dinosaur list at Wikipedia it's awesome.

I actually help out at wikipedia occationally........well..... in that I supply pictures occationally. Rinconsaurus isn't the most complete dino... I don't usually like reconstructing dinos with out fairly complete skulls for exarmple...bit anyway thanks for commenting!

Hee thanks.. All fossil trackways show them going right to left, they never went the other way!
Its wierd, although not impossible to draw the other way its just more natural R to L so some reason.

Great pattern. And I actually like seeing sauropods now and then for a change of pace.

I agree with Mountaineer47; and hey! you have added some ground and shadow, that's always a nice point (that I very often forget to add).
Btw, the color scheme is great; and is this sauropod something new or recently described? never heard of it.

Thanks and thanks for the fav!
2003 , Im stuggling to get the link to work (deviant art interprets some of the http code as a wink??) but there is the desription freely avaible, as you'll see from the skelelal its not the most complete sauropod in the world.
Type it in on Google, the 4th resault shows the description. (You should see, Revista geológica de Chile - Rinconsaurus caudamirus)

Great job! I don't find side views boring. But maybe that's because it's all I draw. lol
