I feel like I may have missed the boat on this one somewhat, but it had to be done.Last time Microsoft "ruined Windows forever", they managed to recover. I'm not so sure there's any going back this time, though. 7 may very well be the last version of Windows that most people will ever use.

I'm not a fan of windows 8 unless it is on a tablet. But personally for a tablet, my choice is still going to be Android OS.

Yeah... I've seen stuff on 8 and didn't like it. Mom's tablet runs 8 and I had a hard time figuring it out... teaching her wasn't much easier.
My next computer will likely be a mac anyway.
