These are so sharp and vivid - the B&W is very well done!

Being slightly color blind I tend to only apply colors when the piece demands it. I am also probably drawn to fractal structures that look good in gray scale...

Yeah, the greyscale certainly highlights the structure, and that's mostly what fractals should be all about, in my opinion.

Nice. It looks very elegant.
I'm still a newb with fractals though, so I don't have any critique to offer you.

Thank you for the compliment. Regardless of how a piece is achieved, the most important thing to me is how people see it. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

The way the fine detail morphs into the main structure is all just part of the complex landscape of (the boundary of) the Mandelbrot set. In this case my role is limited to finding the location and applying the gradient! (Sort of like a landscape photographer compared to a painter).

Wow! @_@ That's incredible. It makes me dizzy, and I want to try and crawl deeper in to see more and more of it.
It's the sort of thing you can stare at for hours trying to see all the details!

Thank you...

Thats the sort of feeling that made me get into fractals in the first place.

I'm glad you like it.
