Just a knee jerk reaction to Michael Bay's announcement about his intentions with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.I call it TMBT (Teenage Michael Bay Turtle)

I finally got around to watching them. I thought they were alright as a stand alone movie but they were not really THE turtles. And I couldn't stand watching April O'Neil. Every time she spoke she sounded like a porn star. I can't believe they made a Transformer Shredder. WTF. He ended up being a Japanese dude but they really didn't make Shredder as big of a focal point as he should be. It was alright if you didn't view it AS the TMNT were supposed to be but there was so much wrong with it if viewed as a canon TMNT movie. Also what the hell was with them being bulletproof and as strong as a super soldier? That kind of defeats the purpose of being "ninjas" when you can just walk in, take on a hellfire of bullets, and then just super kick people across the room.

What sad is that although this is far from the source material, it's awesome in it's own right but i'm afraid that if Michael Bay make TMNT ... excuse me TANT like his Transformers movies, he will focus mainly on the damn human rather than the Turtles (so either April and Casey will be the mains or he'll create 2 new douches as our protagonist).On top of make them aliens, he want this to be a "kids movie" ? I did'nt expect nor want the movie to be rated R, but i would have love to have the greedy and dark atmosphere of the original comics in this movie (kind of like the first one but a little more violent), I guess it was to much to ask from the "pedophile of filmaking"! I swear, this guy is feeding on the tears of broken childhood !

I swear, if Hollywood was smart, they'd put Mr. Bay under house arrest and cut him off from all of humanity before he screws up yet another childhood franchise or movie.
I mean, first he screws up with Armegeddon's title. Armegeddon is, by definition, the final and ultimate battle between good and evil. The movie was about a bunch of guys being sent into space to blow up a massive asteroid. Unless aliens were slingin' that giant hunk of space rock at Earth, there's no real evil involved there.
Then he took a major movie-making dump on Transformers. Having Peter Cullen reprise his role as Optimus Prime, having Industrial Light and Magic work on the "robots in disguise", and Steve Jablonsky's stirring score for these movies were just about the only things he did right. Otherwise, he screwed up a lot of the Transformers' names, made the humans take center-stage (uuuuuugh!), and had these convoluted plots that were largely a huge dump on the franchise.
I didn't actually see what he did to the Nightmare on Elm Street reboot, but I knew if Michael Bay was involved, it would be a collosal flop.
And now, they have that travesty against cinema working on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?! And having the turtles come from outer space?! Somebody should just put a large number of bullets in him before he ruins yet another bit of my childhood!

Yeah, Transformers was crap and the Nightmare on the Elm Streetre make was useless and lack the soul of the original. All the kills were literaly the same as in the original and the thing that they add were just wrong (Freddy is pretty much a pedophile/rapist in this o_0). Also, the characters (especialy Nancie) were charismaless.
As for Ninja Turtles, I know that it's supposed to be rewritten but the scritp was leak a while ago. I doubt the rewritten will change that much of elements btw. For instance, the guy who will play Shredder was revealed not too long ago and it a white dude meaning that most likely the "General Shrader" thing is still in the script ... FUCK).

No arguments there on Transformers and Nightmare. My one friend refused to see it because it wasn't Robert Englund reprising his roll as the Springwood Slasher.
General Shrader?! You've gotta be kidding. Shredder was no general. He was lord and master of the Foot Clan, and he was not afraid of taking matters into his own hands. And furthermore, a white dude?! Last time I checked, there's very few white dudes who run around with a name like Oroku Saki. Michael Bay clearly has no idea how many enemies he's making, does he?
I'm only 28 seconds in and I'm already feeling my anti-Michael Bay hatred rising.
