This was a custom work for a college-aged student of psychology and creative writing, she is also an avid horseback rider. I tried to create a character with complimentary literary and scientific leanings. She edits her inspired, frantically written work with scientific precision, close reading with a magnifying glass. On her desk, in addition to a steaming cup of tea, she has a Rorschach inkblot test, that looks unmistakably equine. A simultaneous nod to her interest in psychology and her love of horses.
