Hey there, this is an awesome tutorial!
You draw very lovely eyes.
Also, theres some guy trying to pass you're final image there as his own.

Just thought you should know. Browsing through his gallery, he seems to have stolen a lot of artwork.

This is a terrific tutorial. Thank you for taking so much of your time to create this, it is very clear and will be super helpful. My biggest struggles with eyes are the lashes and getting both eyes to look in the right direction! I love seeing the different techniques artists use to get that deep effect. Nicely done. Thank you again!

Awesome done. When you paint portraits, eyes and stuff. About how big are the drawings?

StingingPistol In reply to skeptikern [2009-03-11 00:21:07 +0000 UTC]
Usually it's on A4 paper, which is about 8.3 by 11.7 inches. This particular tutorial was about 2 inches wide though!

Since I live in Sweden we don't count with inches, But I gues if 8,3x11,7 is like a A4 paper I have a quite good idea of how big that is. But isn't it hard to draw that big?

StingingPistol In reply to skeptikern [2009-03-12 14:04:37 +0000 UTC]
A4 is also about 21x30 cm!
When I first started drawing portraits I had trouble filling the sheets, but I prefer drawing a little larger now, as it gives you the opportunity to add more details...
I'd like to try A3 paper aswell, sometime.. that's about twice as big actually

Yeah I know those sizes. Well. i actuall ythink it's really hard to draw thing so big. It looks so.. smeared... or simething. But I agree with you that the larger you draw the more details you can fit in the art/pic
