this piece is one of my personal favorites and successes and i imagine will remain so for years to come (as i haven't quite been able to replicate its qualities).

You also have a really great hand with light and shadow - I saw a lot of this sort of thing in your gallery, and you're really good at it. This is my favorite of this type

I like this a lot. I really like your style, it's very expressive. It allows detail while remaining simple. ^^ He reminds me a lot of Morpheus/Dream from Sandman, too...which makes me quite fond of him. <3 Heh.

omg i love the mouth! i dont quite understand why, feels like the most "real" element in this work, maybee it's just me? Either way, i like the idea of surrounding the facial frame with really dark charcoal, add a lot on the expression. hmmmm i like i like!!
