Feels good to finally upload a completely new plush! It's been a while!So, here is Sarah from The Last of Us. I decided that while I was working on Loki as promised, I wanted a simpler plush to be able to upload while Loki takes ages.
Sarah is approx 10" tall, fully poseable and has:
- Multi-shade yarn hair
- Specially designed hand-painted face
- Hand-painted Halican Drops t-shirt (Tour locations are fineliner pen) with black undershirt
- Hand-dyed lilac gingham cotton pyjama pants with pink lining
- Miniature skateboard with springy trucks and hand-painted giraffe design to tie in with themes in game
- Birthday card for Joel, drawn and hand-written
- Giraffe toy
- Football

it may seem crazy, but when I look at Sarah. I see myself so much. because she's a really silly girl. and so nice just like me too!!! I had to include her in my Resident Evil fanfic crossover idea, that's how huge of a fan I am of her like you are. I'm not sure how this idea is gonna fly with some people. but I'm giving it a shot and going for all the marbles and if people don't like it. that's too damn bad for them. I've added characters from a couple of other games as well.

OMG this is adorable!!! I'm a big Sarah fan and it made me so ticked off when she died. to me, that was a very unfair death. I loved watching the playthrough so much of The Last Of Us that I want to buy it eventually.

Yeahhh, Sarah is the sweetest. Her death is a hard one to watch. I kinda guessed she might not survive because Joel and Ellie are the ones in the trailer and on the front cover of the game, so I got super attached to her from the start. I love her. So adorable. Such a shame.
So that's why I have my Sarah doll now!! With her little giraffe and birthday card and everything.
Definitely buy the game if you haven't already (so sorry this reply is super late). Try and get it on PS4 if you can. The graphics look super sharp and pretty and there's a photo mode which really highlights how beautiful the graphics are.

I love all of your The Last of Us plushies! I am such a huge fan of this game, and Naughty Dog in general! I was just wondering if you're still making them, because I'd be really interested in buying one or all of them! These are honestly the best, and most detailed plushies I've ever seen! Super-fan here!

I too am a massive fan of Naughty Dog - which really made me buy The Last of Us because usually, I don't like zombie style stuff, but it just looked so pretty and incredible. I had to. I loved it. So therefore, I had to make plushies and they had to be super detailed.

That's okay, my response is way later. I've been having computer issues with both of my craptop laptops, lol, but I finally am on my boyfriend's desktop, which is 100 percent better!
No problem! All of their games are godly, not to be a creep, but I've been kind of obsessed with them since Crash Bandicoot; I can't believe it has been 30 years already, boy do I feel old! xD
I am definitely still interested in a plushie, if you're still creating them! Also, wondering if you'd make other Naughty Dog plushes, like Jak and Daxter? Just wondering.
Zombie games are hit and miss to be honest; I bought The Evil Within, and was really hoping for an awesome game, but it has been subpar. So was The Walking Dead videogame, I don't think it was actually a licensed product from the show!
I love sewing myself, but I have no room at my new place, and I honestly can't figure out how to sew hair, or to make faces on my plushes!

I got super protective over her from the outset because I realised she wasn't one of the main characters. I.e. she wasn't Ellie so I figured something would probably happen to her. So upsetting. I cried.
I really glad you like my plushie though. Hehe. She was a super adorable character. I had to make her.

I really enjoyed doing the different shades of yarn in her hair - Sarah had lots of different shades in her hair, so brain goes 'Challenge ACCEPTED.'
I was also very happy to find my tiny writing skills coming in handy here for her card, and for her shirt... my 0.05mm fineliner.

D'aww, thanks!! I really loved making her. Especially the completely different types of accessories. Got to do a bit of woodwork for the skateboard, made a completely new template set up for the giraffe and sew a football! I always love doing new things.

Tehe, noop. I drew out the shapes on a scrap piece of wood from uni, used the sanding machines to get it down into shape and drilled the holes and made it smooth to paint it and make the trucks for it. I sabotaged an old spring loaded pen so I could use springs to make the trucks flexible.
The first skateboard deck I made was too big for Sarah, so looks like Joel might have one too if I finish it up!

Awww. Don't you have any more favourite characters that you would like to make? I have a very long list of characters on my to plush list. And it keeps growing....
Well, hopefully they'll be some more popping up soon! As mentioned in my journal, I'm now on my holiday, so I have loads of time to myself - can't wait to make a big dent in my 'to plush' list. Heh heh.
