Description
This is a prize request sketch for Lord-Zasz [link]He said draw a "dynamic" sketch of Koa. What's more dynamic than Kung Fu? ("Skadoosh!"
(BTW... 功夫 = Kung Fu)
He voted [link] and won 1 of the 3 sketches I gave away during the poll.

My first deviation done with Mechanical Pencil... I really like it, and will likely use it for all my detailed sketches from now on.

That could be fun. I'm not taking requests at the time, but maybe after I see Kung Fu Panda 2 I'll feel inspired. No promises, but I'll keep it in mind.

I tend to cry at the oddest moments in movies... even when It's not a sad scene, but at emotional moments.
Well, not "cry", but get choked up or misty eyes. Usually it's when the Hero/Heroine has an epiphany (There is no Secret Ingredient) or there's a moment of forgiveness, compassion, or sacrifice (like Flynn's at the end of "Tangled").
Like all good art, Films that get emotional responses are the ones we all love. Weather Laughter, Anger, Tears, Insight, Joy, Nostalgia, or just feeling like we've had fun... that's usually what we associate with a what makes a movie "Good".

Yeah he's cute. Thank Lord-Zasz for that, Koa's his character.
Here's his original: [link]
Here's the last one I did of Koa: [link]
Lord-Zasz loved the way I drew him so much, when he won a free sketch, he requested that I do it again... Thus the "Kung Fu Koa".
(Thnx 4 the fave )
