This one's cuter, and took just as long as the last one.
Timon's got a strong oppinion, but he's still one of my favorite characters!

Ok, it was a photomanipulation.
I took screenshots from the 2 DVDs and composited them into a photo.

It's good the way you add characters to photos. How do you do it?

I used photoshop for these pomposites.
Here's a basic tutorial:
1. Download or Take a high-res photo. This will be your backdrop for the composite. (i.e. If you want it to be a picture of your friend holding a Pokemon, have your friend pretend to hold it like it's invisible, or they can hold something of similar size like a plush animal. you can replace the object in the picture with the character later.)
2. Now download a good quality picture of the character or object you wish to composit into your photo. You can also use a screen capture program to take a snapshot from a movie or game on your computer. THis usually works best, as you can search the video for the perfect shot and pose.
3. Use Adobe Photoshop to open your character screenshot. Use the selection tools to highlight the character (some basic Photoshop knowlege is required). Copy the selection.
4. Open your backdrop photo with photoshop and paste the character into it as a new layer.
5. Scale, distort, and streach the character and move it into the place you want it. Use the eraser tool to edit the character.
6. More experienced users might select the character and ad shadow and highlight layers for better composite realism.

I use "Adobe Photoshop CS"
You can Download a free demo version if you search for it on the net.
Otherwise, it's about $200 US Dollars to buy the full version, or there's the danger of illegal download.
Make sure to download some tutorials on how to use it. It's not hard to use, but if you don't know where to start it might use up all you're demo time. It's a fantastic program, and a vurtually unlimited art studio!
