The hand, the shadow, it chokes me every night when I lay back to examine myself and then I'm held down in horrors and atrocities that swim through my vision and then the dark voice whispers as I struggle for life, "follow us down" and I'm so allured but so paralyzed with fear and the inability to breathe and I black out into deja vu and wonder where the real things start and if they're parallel to what's not real, or if nothing's real at all.

mirror image swimming pool... the same watery reflection that su-stains life, causes colors to go from green to black, a cry for help, an outreached arm, an accidental slip, a loss of direction, everything is vertigo, we know we're underwater now, we know it's just a matter of time, sinking, everything turns from watercolor green to nothing, darkness and confusion, are our eyes open or are we looking at the bottom, we have no choice but to follow the current, the currents, the loss of control, one last breath, the outreached arm, the cry for help, the water was never that deep, we could stand up anytime we wanted, but we are addicted.... we have to drown it all...
