Hey, I started out as a random artist too! And now I've got a fair amount of people who don't just watch me because they're my friend, but they actually enjoy my work. It's all about baby steps. You may be surprised what might happen if you posted a few of your pictures in groups and stuff to reach a wider range of other users. I know I was!

Groups are there to help you spread your work to people with common interests and make new friends, so they can get you favs and comments fairly quickly.
