On this one I tried realism style, it needs some work, but I think I'm getting there, just gotta get some techniques down. I did have to use a reference picture for it as I haven't memorized the flow of the fur, I needed a reference to see and decided as a practice I'd just match the pose aswell.

Cool. I am not a good artist but somehow in elementary school i cant remember the grade in art class we were told to do a forest scene with paint and magazine pictures and somehow my picture got put on the art show.

hehe just use a brush tool and smudge! I like to create a black outline(you can see if you zoom in on the pic) and blur it to give the iris effect.

I think you may need to add more deeper shadows in the fur though, but otherwise it's pretty good!

Thank you! Yes I see that now, my whole fur painting technique in this one was really sloppy so it didn't leave much room for change/adding shadows. Hopefully I get it better next time.
