This is not only my first ever reader insert it is also my first fan fic and my first writing of this genre. Please be kind.... but still honest.

"What are you doing?" Ludwig's deep voice sounded behind you making you jump.

"Me? Oh nothing." You said as you returned to reading the book you had brought over with you. It was the third time you were reading it and it was starting to get a little boring, but it was the ony decent thing you had.

"Why are you in my house?" He asked his W's turning to V's with his thick German accent.

"Feliciano invited me over but he had to go leave to...uh..." Your voice trailed off as you tried to find the last part of your lie.

"Why is that idiot inviting people over to my house?"  he muttered under his breath

You shrugged and returned to your book, unsure as to what you should do. You honestly hoped that He would never figure out that that the real reason why you were here was because you had lost a bet with Francis and thus had to do what he had requested for the day. At the time you had been so sure you would win, and now you were regretting it. You just wished he would tell you...

You placed your book down and looked up at Ludwig

"So do you have any good books I could borrow?" You asked curiously. He had to have more than the ones you had heard Feliciano ranting about and you were quite honestly fed up with the main character in this one at the moment.

"Nien." He said with a small laugh "You are not permitted to see my book collection."

You raised a questioning bow "Whyever not?"

Ludwig just shook his head as a response and walked out of the living room.

"Where are you going?" You asked curiously.

"None of your business." He replied offhandedly

You sulked for a moment before going sitting down and pretending to read. You flipped the page of your book and looked at the page seeing only the writing on the page. With this task on your mind you couldn't concentrate on the written world; you were stalling and you knew it. With a sigh you stood out of the chair, placed your book in the seat and followed in the direction Ludwig had gone.

You walked into the kitchen to find Ludwig staring into his fridge.

"Where the hell did Feliciano put it?" He mumbled to himself angerly.

You cleared your throat and Ludwig turned his head towards you. "Ja?" He asked

You opened your mouth and stumbled over the words Francis had told you to say to him. you spoke slowly and tried your best not to mispronounce anything.

"Ich bin hier fur dich ges-geschickt." you had no idea what you had just said and you watched Ludwig--hoping for a translation.

A small smirk toyed with his face before he let out a small huff. He closed the fridge, stood to his full height, turned around and placed his hands on his hips.

"So you lost a bet with Francis did you?" He asked, somewhat amused. You looked at him unsure of what to say. "What did you bet about?" He asked as he took a step closer. You stood speechless what had you said? "Just like Francis." Ludwig scoffed "Sending someone else to do what he was supposed to" He paused for a moment "But I guess I can have more fun with you than him."  He gave one nod "much better than cleaning Feliciano's room"

"What?" you looked at him, thoroughly confused.

"Why don't you follow me and find out." He asked as he left the kitchen.
