After seeing Roger Dean's work in person in January, I was inspired to try experimenting with mixed media pieces. The background was done impulsively, and then the foreground was added in acrylics a while later, inspired by the patterns in the watercolor.True Artist Confessions: I really wanted an excuse to use this awesome teal paint I was given
