Stottys Terragen ArtThis is actually Version 2 of Eagle Mountains, I had so many comments (thank you to all how contributed to that) about modifications people would like to see on that so here we are.
Most of the changes will probably be obvious, this is taken from the other side of the ridge looking the other way to capture some of the more bumpier terrain, the textures, well added tons more and bumped them up a bit, added a thicker atmosphere and mistiness in the valleys and changed the cloud formations a lot too, so many changes I thought perhaps a new title too.
Well, I hope you all like this version better, I certainly do, I know it has some really good possiblities for some great dramatic scenes, later scenes perhaps, but this has really been produced for :devzoaniod: for him to add his fighting eagle airbrush work to, so the drama has been reduced so it doesn't take over his art.

Overall an awesome render here mate .. One thing I seemed to notice right away is in the bottom right part of the render. The dark red colouring doesn't seem to go well with the overall scene ..
I love the mountains in the background though, and the mist is excellent, as well as the sky and sky colour ..
Great job, I'd just say to fix up the textures in the foreground ..

I like the texture and the color you used for the landscape. It is very realistic except one part. The mountain on the left looks a bit odd. The mountain on the right though is fantastic. I actually like the haze the best. The scene sorta looks like it is takeing place in the morning. Good work stotty

Very peacefull looking landscape. I especially like the way you did the haze and the clouds in thin layers, makes the mountains in the back remind me of Cahadras. Textures up front look quite good now and there aren't any odd shadows anymore either. Makes this look quite a bit better. Still, there's one point of doubt for me in this. The haze seems to rush up on you near the mountain in the front. Other then that, I think this is an excellent background for an image of two eagles fighting
