Description
Now that the first stage of the Design the Next Enterprise contest is complete. I figured I would post a larger version of my design submission from the contest.I am aware that not all like my design and it's hammerhead/ crescent section. I get that. I actually wanted to go away from the traditional with that. I also wanted to
make an Enterprise that would fit the Star Trek Online Time frame. A time Frame where the Federation is fighting a war on all fronts. So my design reflects the tougher
universe.
My design also incorporates a few of the Aventine's slipstream components in the Deflector and some detailing on the Nacelles. She is about 10% larger than the Ent-E.
Here is the ship in it's Multi-Vector/ Saucer Sep Mode. I didn't have it ready in this mode for the contest so I only submitted it in it non-vector-mode configuration.
We are all still waiting to hear the outcome form CBS and Cryptic.
I again want to thank all of you out there that did vote for my design. I also want to wish all of the designs that have made it into the next round the best of luck.
I can't wait to see who ever wins design incorporated into the game.
Good Luck to All.

Though I'm a fan of the Odyssey class this is a nice concept as well, who knows maybe it'll be incorporated into the next rendition of enterprise.

did you ever draw a more detailed version of what looks like a support craft on this and the gryphon?

Nice. It looks like you encorperated the nacells from the recent movie and TNG-ized them.

I think they dropped the ball on that contest anyway....me and all my friends were excitedly sketching away when we found out it was limited to US only. AT which point...meh....deflating ballon noise. I never played STO cos couldn;t afford a sub...but now...even if I could I wouldn't. Especially as it turns out the Aventine is one sexy ship, and the books are better than STO's lil gambit. Aside from Data being still dead in one.

It is a very interesting design, to say the least. Gives it a distinctive and even alien or Romulan look to it. Here's an idea. Why not design Warp engines at the end of the primary hull, that extend out after saucer separation. That way the primary hull is warp capable as well. Just a thought.

I keep asking, "What were they thinking?" when they chose the Enterprise on Star Trek: Online.

I don't know and I didn't even make into the top 25 after finishing in third place in fan votes.

That... is very stupid. This looks way better than the terrible version ingame.

Nice one. I like it, even though i had some reservations towards the half moon saucer section.

I like the look.
Although the top looks like a Ferengi ship could easily fit there.

I like it a lot.
Hope to see it in game even if it isn't the Big E.

That would be cool, then I would have two designs in the game.

The MV Mode show the importance of the design: As an independent ship (an Escort), the saucer will be great
