Minecraft is super popular (duh) and I wanted to try and figure out how I would make that type of world into a comic. So this is going to be a quick 5 pager attempting to show what I think some of the game mechanics would look like if it were to be a story told in the panel form

Thanks it is currently 5 pages. I think it would be fun to do as a web comic but I would have to come up with some sort of story as minecraft is sooooooo variable that other than the ender dragon there isn't really an over arching story from the game to implement :S

Don't worry mate, just make it your own, the world of minecraft is just a setting, I don't see why you can't make a great story in that setting. Unless you are planning for it to go a long with the actual game completely then I don't see how it could be a problem to make up your own adventure with your own story.

You are indeed correct, and I am not implying that I couldn't, but I like to have an ending in mind when I start a comic. I like when I can sprinkle in foreshadowing and threads before they actually come up. So it isn't that Minecraft makes a difficult back drop to make a story in, it is that it is so wide open that narrowing what type of story you want to tell can be difficult. But a few people have expressed an interest in seeing more of this so if that continues over the next 5 pages I at the very least have the game mechanics to explore in comic form while I try and figure out what kind of story I want to make
