Justin lead a pack of rats and mice that now have taken shelter in the theater, once humans found and destroyed their last one. Of course, it wasn't very good idea at first with cats there. And once noticing Phantalmina was a shock at first. seeing a human child in a abandon place all alone. But things turned around quickly when Phantalmina placed her rule about not hurting nor killing anyone who looked sanctuary in the theater. Soon Justin and his friends saw Phantalimina wasn't like other humans. She was different by many ways.

The rats made quickly friends with the bats that took refuge in the theater. Justin Made friends with one called Dusk. Young bat who wants to do much more to help Phantalmina and others. Quite much like him.

Justin is a lot of things. Kind, selfless, noble, witty, charming, civilized, friendly, gentlemanly, polite, respectful, mature, responsible, protective, patient, daring, gentle, caring, understanding, sympathetic, and very brave. Justin looks after all his friends. Just like Munkustrap he doesn't like much Phantalmina's father, the Phantom. But looking after Phantalmina is another thing. Since she has done so much for him and others, Justin follows her where she goes when there is a need. It didn't took him long to find out that Phantalmina sneaked out on winter to find Ashley's family. He and few others joined her search and he keeps helping what ever she will need.

Justin was a first rat to take the Blood-bands followed by Isabella. He didn't hesitated to take her tear from her cheek and drink it right on the moment. Ever since then, Justin has been like a older brother to Phantalmina, that looks after her and comforts her with other banded ones.
