As I lay dying, is a metal band comprised of Christians. Not to be confused with Christian metal band.. From the bands collective mouths to my ears."No Fear Energy" was probably one of the better concerts I have been to this year. I got to meet and hang out with Randy Blythe (again) of Lamb of God, and got to shoot anything and everything I wanted.
Twas great.
The stage was 5.5ft high, so I couldnt get his feet in the shot.. (monitors are a photographers bane 50% of the time..

Being only 5'7 myself my solution is platform boots o-O doesn't always work but usually it does. besides they look nice as well.. great gallery, certainly worth analyzing for me (:

Anything I can learn from is worth my time ^-^ I suppose you;re swamped by people who ask you this, but if you find the time, have a peek at my gallery(to be honest I don't really keep it up to date that much, bad little me >.<
And I know plenty of males who wear platform boot,s though they;re usually cybergoths... and also wear pleather skirts... there ARE male platforms though o-O Maybe those kangaroo shoes are an idea? the ones that make you jump? they're like stilts.

true, crowds can be somewhat iffy.... usually I noticed the closer the crowd is to the preforming artist personally, the more of a pain in the ass they become..(people who just enjoy the music and show usually care little about a photographer, but boyfriends/girlfriends, parents and grandparents get very very annoying if they think you are hindering them enjoying their show...) I guess I get away with a lot more because I'm a girl, seriously its insane the amount of shit I can get away with sometimes...

nah only the usual: mic stands, shoes, peoples arms, mics, beer bottles and cups, guitars and guitar necks..... Then again I'm the kind of photographer that'll stand in the mosh pit at small metal and hardcore concerts and keep standing, even manage to dish some out while protecting my cam xD but no not been hit with too many strange things yet....
