Fantastic! Skolnick has wonderful stage presence. I've seen him with the Alex Skolnick Trio, and TSO, but not yet with Testament. He also gives the best hugs EVER.

He probably would have! The guy is super-nice. Seeing him with the Trio was excellent, because he wasn't mobbed by fans, so he was easily accessible.

I've seen Testament twice, the Trio hasn't been here, and he only plays the East version of TSO..

I had the pleasure of seeing Testament about a year ago. Great show. I love this shot. It captures the energy of the band.

I've heard of these guys... I never bothered to check them out though. Mainly because it's thrash. I'm not much of a thrasher.

He has a Jazz trio under the name "Alex Skolnick Trio" - i know thrash isn't for everyone.. I don't like it as much as other genres either

I'm mainly into funeral doom metal. But I like almost all genres of metal. In fact... I like almost all genres in general. I'll have to check out his Jazz trio. Thanks for the recommendation!

The problem is, I don't have the money to buy a decent camera... besides, the security wouldn't let me in with that. I tried with my Sony one time, and they refused, so I had to use my cellphone. :/
I only shoot the photos as a paying guest

Haha, you know, on saturday I met some people from a website. They shoot photos on concerts and parties and that... aaaand... I applied. I already talked to the boss on the party I was... A friend and me ended there by pure coincidence... now I'm waiting for the answer. I hope I get the job - well, for no pay, but hey - I could go to any concert, club and whatever
