Description
Fictional writing system I'm working on, used in the land where Pilgrim (also in my gallery) came from. I based the letters on Phoenician, and then modified them, since what little of Pilgrim's vocabulary is a pastiche of Semitic languages. The words themselves comprise Pilgrim's full name, which he never uses himself.

Interesting script.
Is the writing syllabic or pictoral, or somehow both?
How did the languages you created evolve and come about in this fictional place?

Thank ye. It's neither syllabic nor pictorial. It's an abjad, like Hebrew and Arabic.
It just did. Really, Wabari is a quasi-Semitic pastiche of Arabic and Hebrew, because I love Semitic languages. The letters are based on modified Phoenician letters, like the Hebrew, Syriac, Arabic, and other scripts are.
