Description

This is supplementary material to Mega Man Smash. It's not directly a part of the storylines but I wanted to include these topics on robots. I didn't include them in the story because I felt it was a little too complicated to add it in naturally so I came up with these little comics to address what I wanted to without having to halt and drag the story itself out. Plus then I also can do these little visual gags to keep things interesting & make my point clear.

Naturally the very first one lesson is what most people think of when it comes to robots is the 3 Laws by Isaac Asimov & something I didn't know until I looked it up, even Asimov explored the ideas of how flawed these rules are, which considering pop culture osmosis has taught most people that these 3 Laws were often set it stone is a bit of a surprise. The frightening part, despite the popular belief, some people have pointed out that not only would the 3 Laws of Robotics wouldn't work, it actually would be more likely to CAUSE half of the problems they were meant to prevent. Weird ain't it?

Naturally I also added some of the Ruby Spears cartoon references like him saving the Lincoln Memorial & him having self determination. That just seems work for him the most. Plus I think it also helps on why Mega is able to fight Dr. Wily yet not the mutants who attacked him.

And YES I am aware of Mega Man 7, & if/when I actually get to the end of that game I will address the "Die Wily" line that actually was only added in US version of the game. Spoilers: Mega got really sick of Wily's BS but also has regrets about how he acted.

One last thing about these lessons, I've already made all 4 (including this one) but I'm gonna wait until the story line brings up the subjects. So don't worry they won't bog the story down too much for ya if you just want to skip it.
