Yeah, I thought I might end with DC's Aqua Man. Since the days of the Super Friends, Aqua Man tended to crapped on as guy whose only power is that he can control water while underwater & talk to fish. Often the butt of jokes that he couldn't do much else. Except as with many of the DC heroes when he appeared in the DCAU among many other incarnations, Aqua Man has been proven to be quite the Atlantis Badarse. And more Atlantians would be as I'm sure many fans of Kaldur's version of Aqua Lad will agree.
