Description

So I had a written listen and when I was making the Pikachu dex (among a few others that will be posted later) I realized "Hey!" I could actually visually share this idea with people with sprites and stuff.

While I'm not entirely certain of the balance (especially considering I have no crap to give for the competitive side), I just wanted to show all the pokemon that could become sound types and all the audio moves & abilities that are related to sound. There is some evidence to suggest that MAYBE it could be possible for DLC on Sword & Shield. (nothing but speculation at this point) but I seriously think it's a really good idea.

Like I mentioned with Sonic Man in my Mega Man Smash comic, Sound is actually a lot more interesting & important to the world that most people think, I know a few fans says it's not as exciting as oppose to say oh I don't know the Nuclear type from Uranium. But sound is the one that actually seems to work especially because nearly ever other fan type I can think of already has a typing similar to it. With Magic/Arcane as well as Light be related to Fairy & Psychic types and Wind typing being just another name for Flying. And other types like Cosmic to me sounds a little too over powered. It sounds like a little kid trying to cheat and God mode to win, "Oh yeah well my COSMIC type pokemon can beat your stupid Legendary!"

Sound however as you can see has a lot of potential and the only type it seems be related to it is Normal with animals. Sound is the one element that honestly doesn't get as much love as you would think in any case rpg case, People would always joke about the Spoony Bard. It wasn't always the case though, the Bard in 1st Edition D&D actually used to be really hardcore.

And just think about this for a moment, think about how important Sound is. It is one of our survival senses, our early warning system. Think about how difficult it is for people who are mute or Deaf. Music, our communication, the psychological phenomone that you are mentally putting a voice to my words even though you probably have never heard me speak before (maybe I might fix that some day soon) the fact that lullaby calms your child to let them sleep and making them feel safe.

I mean I did a whole Solar Girl issue And if you want a REALLY interesting way to see how bad things can get, go watch an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer called "Hush" S4E10 Or better yet just go read it here . Do you remember when Youtube's idea of deterring copywrite claims was to disable the audio on videos? Remember how much that sucked?

Sound kind of freaken rules! And it would make for a really good believable, and I think I've also just proven that there would be plenty of previously established pokemon to work with. I'm not saying they would be set in stone like they would HAVE to be if they make Sound type but...you get the idea.
