Being straight & cis-gendered, there are something that I don't always fully understand or agree with. And because media loves to focus on the bad things bad people like to do, it's very easy to have confirmation biases. I think it would be hubris not provide a balance perspective on things. Because I imagine a young kid is out there who has question & concerns because they are Cis-het & they are scared of wanting to be happy with who they are but will be accused of trying to steal the LGBT+'s thunder because they didn't have to 'earn it'. True it's not the same but there is a new struggle of an ever changing world going on and we're all trying to keep up & trying to make a brighter future.

It can be overwhelming at times & if some people aren't doing stupid things for clout, some are in a bad place & making bad choices out of desperation to solve a problem that could have been handled a better way. It can be a scary time for anyone on any part of the spectrum. Love & life sadly isn't as simple as we want it to be.

If you're gay you're not "sick"

If you're trans you're not "going through a phase"

If you're ace you're not "broken"

& If you're straight you're not "boring"

Not everything is a cry for help & not every curious thought means you're on the path of no return. Sometimes you're relationship will change as you do.

If you were a bi girl & decide to date another girl, that doesn't mean you were always secretly a lesbian.

Maybe you weren't so much as born in a "wrong body" so much as you had some emotional problems & had different interests and weren't raised in the healthy way you should have been.

And maybe if you were Ace and found someone who made you felt something you never had before, maybe you really were just waiting for the right one to come along.

And that's OK! That didn't meant what you were before wasn't wrong.

The One consistent thing I've learned that you should know: Only you can decide who you are, what you feel, & who you want to spend your time with.

All we ask that we try to be good to each other & to ourselves.
