Commission for . This was started long ago, then put on hold. We decided to give it another shot, and this is the result. (It's actually three separate pages, but I didn't feel like having to upload a lot more things today, so I squooshed them together into one.)

"Zachariah's folks always told him to be nice to girls. It didn't matter how pretty they were, or what colour, or even what species. He was a good kid, and learned his lessons well. So when he saw this little lizard girl struggling to carry her bucket down the path, he rushed to offer his assistance.

LittleFlower took quite a shine to him, which triggered his transformation. Her species has the ability to change any other species to their own - thus insuring that they never die out. This ability is triggered by emotions of love/fond feelings. The target will eventually learn to shift back and forth between their original state and their reptilian one. "

(Darjeeling 's father is also of this species, just a different variety.)
