Hmm, I dunno what it is, (from left to right) but renders 2 and 4 the fingers seem spindly. :T The rest is pretty cool though.

well if youre fighting outdoors youre gonna get dirty. besides, shiny armour can be seen from miles away. its a direct reaction against the sterile look of battlefield 2142.

Very nice!
The dirt and dust on the armour etc, really adds a realistic flare to the model! Which I must see isn't often seen on military models!

DIFFUSE textures done decently! I'ma hug you now!
A diffuse texture done well is worth more than any number of badly done normal maps

oops but not in this render.
i did a plain opengl screengrab of him at hi res - here it is - you can clearly see the normal mapping going on. its still abattle against the texture resulotion but this hasnt turned out bad.
