pirate raids on such lucrative trading establishments as the Foyeri Al-Maddas station are common but the scene captured here was of a particularly damaging incursion by the famed outlaw Arim Sekh-Arim. this daring bandit has been a continual thorn in the side of the League's millitary strategists and continues to elude their efforts to apprehend him. there are sardonic remarks in the messroom of the local fleet HQ that perhaps the USN should be trying to hire him, much less defeat him.

As the watch sergeant's board lit up like a christmastree, the alarm was barely sounded before the raiders hit with lightning speed.

the normally sluggish USN garrison were galvanised into hasty action and barely managed to salvage the situation, the pirates beating a hasty retreat under a brutal bombardment from the garrison's Huginn squadron under Commander Mikhail Talas.
Foyeri continue to petition the ULP for more protection, but the thinly spread League have many more pressing uses for their armed forces than keeping rich merchants happy.
