Description
The Chorenn Shogunate, an Asian-inspired cold region, from the World of Miresa . Done for the same client.Edit: I decided to make some post-finish additions to add some life to the map in the form of castles and fields for the settlements, much to the delight of the client.

Thank you, Thomas!
One of the biggest obstacles with drawing maps that primarily feature one environment is the danger of them becoming very boring, so I was happy that I remembered that rocky cliffs and glaciers actually are a thing.

Wow, This looks great! Is there any particular tutorial or brush you used to make those mountains, or did you just figure out how to do it over time?

Hey, I think I arrived at my style of mountains by both, trying to emulate other artists simply by studying their maps and by going through some of the excellent tutorials by professional cartographers/illustrator Jonathan Roberts .

This is beautiful!
I really enjoy maps like this that don't list countries but geographic places: Stonebark Forest, Ember Pinss etc.
GOD bless
