Description
This is a continuation of this piece: You can get a close-up of the planet description here:Westeros and Essos recreated as star systems, with Essos as a binary system. Both star systems slowly revolve around each other, with the Summer Isles as their axis and sole stable travel corridor ("The Narrows"). Location of planets doesn't necessarily correspond with geographical positions in the book verse. Given orbital mechanics I had to adapt where it became necessary. Still, I hope you enjoy my effort.
- The image above represents a 45% resolution of the Photoshop image anything larger and it'd become a hassle to load and display here.

The Sisters, Iron Moons, and Dragonstone cannot exist where they are. The Sisters and Iron Moons should be located 60 degrees ahead and behind the gas giant Trident instead of the ~90 degrees ahead and behind, as those would correspond to the locations of the L4 and L5 points of the Westeros-Trident gravitational system (this assumes that Westeros is least 25 times as massive as Trident). Dragonstone's location in your map corresponds roughly with the L3 point, which is unstable - only artificial objects occupy that point if station keeping thrusters are available, otherwise, no natural object could have formed there. Dragonstone must, therefore, be moved to a different orbital track or given its own.

I am not a fan of Game of Thrones, but I must say your work is impressive. My only complain is that the resolution of this map is too low - I would love to read all info on it.
EDIT: forget what I said. I found your other maps for these systems.

Can you provide a link to your adaptation of ASOIAF? I'd be really interested to see a Battle of the Blackwater or Battle of Castle Black involving star cruisers and blasters.

Sadly I never progressed past the prologue. Just don't have the time to draw, do commissions _and_ write. This here is as far as I ever got.

that left me wondering something, is High Garden part of The Reach planet? or is it another astral body?
EDIT: nvm, found them.....
nice map, its humongous on content, it took quite the time to notice all locations.

Thank, thank, thank you, I had an idea while ago, were the Valyrians were a alien race of humanoid dragons, I had really trouble in imagining Westeros and Esso as a star system, the Valyrians that I had in mind were based in the Viltrumites of Imagine comics, they are literally dragons in human form, and more "pure" is your bloodline more powers you would have. Thank you again for this.

I like the idea, especially imagining Others invading from out the area of Always Winter. Changes in placing planets and moons can cause little mess, as for example - locating Iron Moons so close to Dragonstone and Vale, which may cause, first - stronger and faster fall of Iron Men to Targs and second - very often raids on them on the mountain planet... But that's probably no chance to show it any other way.
Also, I can't see Kings Landing here... Crownlands definitely deserve it's own planet, in my opinion.Β
I suppose Sothoryos might also appear, as it's own unique system. I wonder where to place it, though, what kind of star should it be (a red giant, maybe?)... How you'd show it's tropical, wild nature? And adding Sothoryos, this kind of requires replacing Summer Isle, doesn't it?

ah like the asteroid belt or kuiper belt, but with more, lets say iron oxide, so it is more reddish.. Or is it more reddish because of higher temperatures?

To be completely honest with you: it's red because it's red in the books.

The skulls represent abandoned and/or destroyed locations. I put every single one I could find from the bookverse on the map.

my one bit of advice is to have the House Crests to the side of the names instead of behind the text. It makes the test summary harder to read.

I really think Westros has a really unstable orbit which would explain the 1000 years of winter.

The two star systems more or less wobble around their center of gravity, so when they are the farthest from one another and dip the closest into their respective Oorth clouds average planetary temperatures drop rather significantly.

I'm working on a storyline that is a cross over of Stephen Baxter's Book Flood and Game of Thrones. The idea is that Game of Thrones was what the sin filled world looked like before God sent the Great Flood to end it.
The Flood is formed when a massive 1000 mile across ice comet comes in from other space and slams into the planet's moon forming a accretion disk of ice and water vapor that gets pulled into the planet's obit. As the ice chunks and water vapor mix with Westro's weather paterns it causes huge amounts of rain and snow to fall which cause the Narrow Sea to rise and become a Board Sea.
The name of the story will be called the Legend of the Board Sea.
