This drawing is actually four years old. FOUR. And I only just colored it today. I have no excuse except that I simply forgot about it. I'm a bad person.But I drew it sometime after Rod and I went back and re-watched the entire Jem and the Holograms cartoon series from start to finish. I used to watch it when I was younger and remember really liking it, but man, what a fun series. And brilliantly written, too. Great character depth, awesome villains, intelligent writing and great tunes. Can't ask for better than that.
Also, I threw Synergy in there front and center because she doesn't get enough love. So there.

I love the way that you've constructed the piece. It's so Gem! Good choice with the shading- it fits the style really well- and a spiffing job with the overall look. Not that you needed to hear that all from me, but I LOVE the complete thing.

Thanks! We have the series on DVD, so were able to watch the entire run. I think the DVDs may be out of print now, though...
