Their wand doubles as a short-bladed athame, or ritualistic blade. They will typically, harmlessly prick their fingertips to draw out the blood with which they enchant their concoctions.
Because Magpie's brews are saturated with their essence, they are able to physically manipulate their concoctions at their will with a mere flick of their wand as well.
