another pair of under-appreciated and barely known Dalmatians of the "101" franchise--the Vandercreams, Aunt Coco and Uncle Beamer. :3
They're relatives of the Dearly Dalmatians and are seen in the series episode, "Lucky to Be Alone," when Lucky gets fed up with being one in 99, so he goes to visit his aunt and uncle to be by himself.
No one really knows whether the Vandercreams are related to Pongo or Perdita. Beamer's black ears suggest they're from Pongo's side, but the fact that Perdita was the one to suggest that Lucky spend some time with them in the first place, and as Lucky got on a truck to leave Pongo asked her, "Are you sure this is going to work?" and she replied, "If I know the Vandercreams."
Bottom line, my theory is that they're from Perdita's side, though no one's sure exactly how.
They're kind of snotty, but they mean well.
As with Disney's "Gargoyles" I used to stay up until 4/5am (or train myself to wake up around that time) just to tape the series. When I found out the episode featuring these two (as well as Pongo and Perdita) was on, of course I ran right to my TV and plopped in a VHS tape in record time. The series doesn't show Pongo and Perdy often and as obsessed as I am with the Dalmatians, it was really exciting to see a relative of the Dearly Dalmatians outside of the 101/102 circle. :3

Perhaps it's double relation. Beamer is Pongo's brother, Coco is Perdy's sister...but they seem to fit together well.

I think "Lucky To Be Alone" is my favorite episode of the 101 Dalmatians series. I like these two in that episode just fine, but since Lucky is my favorite on that show, I found myself caring SO much for him and being affectionate towards him in this entire episode, especially near the end of the episode when (SPOILER ALERT) he starts missing his family and wants to go home. This episode has VERY strong similarities to the SpongeBob episode "Texas" at that point, where we have a character who is very sad about being away from home, and it's handled correctly without any bullcorn added to make it disjointed, because this episode is far from that. It's a fantastic episode, and one that I'm glad you had taped at one point, Stray, because it is that well done!

Aaaaaaahh they're my favourite characters in the show! I didn't care for the show as a whole, but I love these characters. ESPECIALLY Uncle Beamer for some reason.

I agree, they seem to be more on Perdita's side of the Family. I would guess to say that Coco is Perdita's Sister. That's my guess anyway.
But yeah, they were interesting Dalmatians and I would love to have seen more of them in the Series. *Hugs* X3

i thought i was the only one who thought that Coco might be Perdita's sister , cause i think the kinda look alike but that is just my opinion and because i think Anita is also a bit like the decent , very well-manneredΒ and would never do something indecent before she meth Roger (like living on a farm with 'dirty' pigs and stuff , like Coco, Beamer and their owners are like kinda ) , but i don't know if Anita knows the Vandercreams or not * maybe because of Perdita and Coco being family brings their owners in contact with each other too*

Although, Like you mention, I do feel Perdita is related to Coco as; She seems to know more about the Vandercreams, she seems more Higher Class, and in the; "101 Dalmatians" "Novel", they say Perdita is born in a Manor House.
So, it does support that Perdita is a Higher Class Dalmatian, isn't she?
And you do have some Humans, who know one another because their Canines are related, don't you? =3

yes that's what i mean with that humans and their dogs ( or other pets) are connected because of each other
and what i mean is that Coco and Beamer ( and probably their owners too) where feeling awkward because of Lucky's farm like habits in that episode, because they're all decent, well-mannered and would never do something dirty or indecent and are afraid to get dirty (whats a bit rare for dogs , but i guess that pets and owners are alike sometimes , or pets get the owners personality) and i think that Anita was also like that before she meth roger but after now with roger he learned her that being all decent and well-mannered isn't always the best to be , sometimes you should be a little 'indecent' and shouldn't be afraid to get dirty so she laid it down a bit . I'm talking about the first time she meth roger, here she's all decent with her nice outfit and didn't like it to get wet and all , so in the past she maybe was like that too .
I guess the Vandercreams didn't learn that
