FINALLY!!

The main event beyond the mutt!

A little history about Fido and her series:
Fido originated like any other character of mine--through a storyline or concept which may or may not have grown (in this case it did). I created her and the concept of the "Fido!" series when I was in 4th-6th grade and since then Fido has been one the most popular characters in my archives.

Eventually, she became so close to me as a character that she became my fursona in late 6th/early 7th grade (before that, I didn't have one).

Now, technically speaking, their are 2 Fidos--one is me, portraying my fursona, and the other is the main character you see here. Fido, in all her aspects is heavily based on me, my personal preferences and my viewpoints.

NOW, on to the character listings; from the top left to the bottom right:

Heart Spot-the dalmatian with the heart-shaped spot on her ear
-Akia and Heart's best friend/Fido and Sassy's friend

Scruffy Retriever-the scruffy golden retriever who Heart has her paw on
-Heart and Akia's best friend/Fido and Sassy's friend

Racer "Skinny" Grey Hound-the confused-looking greyhound
-Rex and Barker's best friend
-unlike his pals, he's very shy and quiet and is very clueless when it comes to girls and rule-breaking

Stardust-the greyhound with the heart-shaped spot on her eye
-a dog who goes to Fido's school who has a major crush on Skinny

Lisa Paws-the sighthound mutt with the flower behind her ear
-the Paws family's adopted daughter who can only speak in barks/growls that Fido and Snow understand the best

Grandma Snow-the old wolf with the headphones
-Fido's paternal grandma who loves to embrace most walks of life--be they old, new, or even illegal; Fido tends to be closer to her than anyone else (besides Sassy)

Grandpa Scruff
-Fido's paternal grandpa who's extremely old-school and cranky

Sassy Border Collie-the border collie with the popcorn
-Fido's super-super best friend

Akia Akita-the akita next to Sassy
-Fido and Sassy's friend/Heart and Scruffy's best friend

Rex Tyrant-the german shepherd with the flowers, trying to woe Fido
-one of the most popular dogs in Fido's school, Rex values his looks and self-image above most else
-has a MAJOR crush on Fido, though she doesn't return the favor

Barker Shepherd-the anatolian shepherd behind Rex
-Rex's & Skinny's best friend who does his best to keep his other friends out of trouble
-Akia's mutual love interest

Bully Dog-the bulldog behind Fido
-a bully at Fido's school who usually spends his days teasing others while his larger gang members do all the beating-up

Fido Paws

Sparky Paws-the german shepherd who looks like Fido's smaller clone
-Fido's younger sibling/Fido's sister who tries to be just like her older sister

Luna Paws
-Fido's mom

Buddy Paws-the peeved-looking german shepherd
-Buddy is Snow and Scruff's son and typically in a grouchy mood to do being over-worked, over-financed and stressed
-Fido's dad

Kody Paws-the little pup behind Luna's back
-Kody is Fido's youngest sibling/Fido's brother

Dotty Dalmatia-the dalmatian intruding the screen space in the front
-she is the daughter of the wealthiest dogs in town and she is usually pup-sitted by Fido

this picture is a little old (2008/2009), so many of the characters look different from what they do now...mostly just in an anatomical sense
i meant to add another line-up of characters at the top, but i never got around to it...which sucks, because im missing a lot of key/main characters (including Fido's older sister; Fido's #1 school nemesis; and the school's #1 bully)

the whole plot seems like a lot now, but really it's just one big, fun series. i just don't work on it as much as id like to/need to...

all of these characters are extremely dear to me and i'd prefer you respect that fact and not steal or alter ANYthing about this image

i really hope to bring a lot more "Fido!" stuff to DA in the future! it is, after all, the whole reason why I'm here (now we all know why the name Fido keeps coming up)
