A request piece done for depicting the three main characters of her TDI Genderbent rock n' roll story IRONICA. Left to right we have: Gwenael (Gwen) who is the boyfriend of Donna (Duncan) who is the love interest of Carter (Courtney). Gwenael's perpetually wary of his girlfriend's flirtiness; Carter's so madly in love with her he doesn't particularly notice. Who will Donna choose?

Since this triangle has so many fans on each side, I tried to go for an (almost) evenly balanced picture. (me = DxC fan, so there's small tilt )

Each character outfit references some famous apparel worn by different rock bands:
1. Donna's jacket, of course, is a tribute to keytaro's favorite artists My Chemical Romance and their iconic marching band costumes worn for their 'Black Parade' album [link] I threw in the Avril Lavigne inspired tutu skirt to make her outfit more feminie, funky, and original [link]
2. Carter's shirt/tie combo were inspired by the wardrobe of Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong and what is widely considered Green Day's iconic look [link]
3. Gwenael's outfit is modeled after an outfit worn by Shiny Toy Guns' keyboard player Jeremy Dawson in their music video for "Ghost Town" where they're all portrayed as cartoons [link] I saw it and fell in love with it for Gwenael.

The pose loosely references the True Blood cover of The Rolling Stones [link] but um, I tried to make it MUCH LESS RACEY. MUCH LESS.
