Last year my friend Amber tried to organize a full Eternal Sailor Scout group for Fan Expo. By August it was clear that she wasn't able to gather enough girls for a full group, but she still wanted to do something so she decided to create an Inner Scout group. She had asked if I wanted to be a part of the group as Saturn originally, but when the group shrank she asked me if I wanted to borrow her Eternal Sailor Chibi Moon costume so I could still participate. I never thought that I would ever Cosplay Sailor Moon's daughter and I had a lot of fun doing it. Amber was Eternal Sailor Moon and she's quite a bit taller than me so it's a surprise that the costume fit me as nicely as it did. I just love her wig and my favourite colour is pink so it was a blast being Chibi Moon especially since I got to take so many shots with Amber who is one of my best friends and in the case of this costume, my mommy. <3 Amber is a gorgeous Eternal Sailor Moon!Kyle, one of our awesome photographer friends, did an amazing job capturing the moment especially given the fact that we did our shoot in a bit of a creepy back alley. XD
Amber has making Sailor Scout costumes down to a science. She can construct a fuku in a day and makes them on commission. For Fan Expo this year we're doing a full Eternals group and this year it's going to work out. :3 For Youmacon last year I commissioned Amber to make me the Eternal Sailor Saturn costume that I'll be wearing. I could have tried to make it myself, but since she makes them so nicely and quickly, I figured why not treat myself by buying one from her and that way all of our costumes will be the same (as everyone in the group has had their fukus made by her). I'm really looking forward to the group!

Thanks! I'll pass on the compliment to Amber about the wings and the costumes (she was Eternal Sailor Moon). She worked really hard on the wings and I know she was really proud of how they turned out.

WOW! These are amazing costumes...it is so rare to see a sailor senshi done so well, let alone two. You guys look amazing 
The eternal versions are my favorite I think, these just look so cool...I've always wanted to make neptune but I would be terrible at putting it together.

I appreciate the comment! Considering your talent with making Silent Hill costumes, I think you definitely would be able to make a wonderful Neptune costume. You would be a lovely Neptune! :3 Amber really amazes me with her speed and talent for constructing costumes. I know I could have learned to make a fuku myself, but I saved myself a lot of time and effort for Saturn by asking her to make it for me and the quality is really nice. I think for myself I pull off the younger looking characters really well since Saturn and Chibi Moon are both younger scouts although I am surprised that I didn't look really funny with the pink hair. XD
I like the Eternal versions too! Such nice variations of the original designs. Too bad they were never in the Anime! The extra colours really make the designs pop.
