I don't even know what an arc burn is. Lets just say, the man knows what he's doing.

the uv light coming off the welding arc can cause burns on your eye. no lasting damage that I've heard of, but its extremely painful. sounds like everything worked out though

yeh, it did work out, and the correct way of welding is also documented in my gallery

it takes quite a while welding like this to cause what you're talking about and whose english name i don't know... guys welding like this for some seconds, to tackweld something using both hands, turning the face away to not damage the eyes, you see in every workshop
