I don't even know where to begin with this costume. This costume was a very crazy month of work for my sewing partner and I. Halloween and many commission jobs were coming, she was moving in a month and a thousand other signs were telling us DON'T DO THIS ARE YOU CRAZY?! But we did it anyway, and the gods smiled upon us with beautiful fabrics at affordable prices and overall a fairly successful end result which was amazingly fun to wear and a challenge to make!The horns are my first every completely from scratch prop project I built entirely on my own and were surprisingly light. Now that they OMG ITS FINISHED and brief honeymoon period is over there are a hundred small details I would like to add and a few things I would change, BUT THEY WILL ALL BE WORTH IT FOR PHOTOS ON OUR LOCAL VIKINI BOAT.
I love Loki. I love Norse mythology. I loved the crazy things he does and the extent he will go to for attention and his own personal gain, and that no matter how sympathetic he may appear it is in the essence of his being to be a complete dick to everyone.
The particular design of Lady Loki I'm wearing was created by the wonderful and is second only to the original canon design of Lady Loki (aka hey bro I'm wearing your girlfriend) in my heart. I think her modern, earthy reimagining of the costume is true to the character and all the small details really make it stand out from the crowd to me.

Excellent composition, the lines of the building and the softness of the background help to draw the viewers attention to you. (As if any help was needed). I love your pose and your look, I may being reading it all wrong, but it looks to me like a combination of mysterious and mischievous with a dash of sexy. Thanks! The headpiece was done in a week and my first 'real' prop I've ever done entirely from scratch without assistance, it was definitely a learning experience but the end result was really light and I'll be adding more detail later!
The fur was a very lucky find, it reminds me a lot of a wolf and felt a lot more appropriate then just a plain grey or white

I'm sure everyone that likes what the scales cover up like them too lol. Seriously that is a great assortment. Did you have to sew them on or epoxy or what did you have to do to get them to be part of your outfit? That has always astounded me.
