Description

The past few weeks were quite stressful and professional life squeezed all my time and energy out of me. I could have coloured all the panels I prepared for this round, but I decided I would not be satisfied with 5 rushed works that feel like overtime machine-colouring anyways. So instead I give you the one that brought me joy and was downright therapeutic in these harsh times. I will be happy to stay in the Jubilee community, maybe paint some 'round entries' or bonus point art in my spare time, without a deadline. I learned a lot from the critiques, for which I am really grateful! And everyone's entries were ever so inspiring, too. Good luck everyone!

My entry: Clemence

Manaka's idea for the display battle was flawless. Hazy mist generated by her Honchkrow made a contrasting background for the Aurora Veil. It all would have been perfect... But that damn Braixen! It shot it's flames around aimlessly, throwing the delicate dance off balance. Manaka's patience was running out, both with the frantic 'mon, and its incapable trainer.
- Tsukuyomi, end this! Use Blizzard! - her Zstone shone brightly, granting power to a Subzero attack of icicles, that closed off Braixen. Even the Dazzling Gleam used in the background by the Togekiss was insignificant in comparison to the Z-move power
- BRAGG! - Clemence was terrified and just for the split second her eyes finally met Bragg's, as icicles grew around her. Cle was not angry that the Braixen stole her pendant. She was instead disappointed with herself, the ignorance and lack of support for a precious team member. Her mistakes brought the entire performance to such chilling end.
'I am fine, don't cry, Cle' the trainer heard a voice... but from where? It sounded far away, but clear...

Small mist... and then a larger cloud of vapor rose from the icicle tomb, revealing a new figure, a grown, evolved, complete form. Bragg the Delphox.
