Description First picture of 2014, yay! Happy New Year!

I've been working on this one for a while, figured I'd just go and finish it up today. It was just some practice to get the amount of detail high and also experiment with some colored lineart, so I wanted

to go with a nice subject and figured Isabela would work out just fine . She's my favorite DA2 character and probably the only reason I played that game more than once . Guess Hawke walked in on a surprise ^^.

Well, what can I say? She looks exactly like in the game!Β 


I see some great improvement in the way you draw faces lately. Many of the Isabela fanart I've seen on deviantArt doesn't really capture her face that well... it's either too long, to wide or doesn't look like her at all.

You've done a great job in recreating her as an artwork. The eye shadow is placed correctly and so is the blush. The risen eyebrow captures her character so well!


The rest of her outfit is done very detailed and extremely close to her official look as well. What sticks out most is her necklace, with all the little golden ornaments and the jewel.


I wonder if this drawing has a better texture than in-game.

Thanks, I've really been trying to improve my face drawing, so I'm glad you noticed ^^.

Hopefully I can put the same amount of detail into future stuff, but it does take significantly more time .___.

Yeah, I guess painting a bunch of boring still lives has paid off and I was able to make the drink halfway realistic ^^. Glad you like it .
