I just like drawing Crash fanart in this toony, stylised way. Another incidental piece that I inked with a blue biro then decided to colour. Since I've got so many styles I should probably start assigning darn codes to them. I've renamed this style Jhex, anyway *shrug* I use it when I'm feeling particularly high energy and wanna concentrate on humour or fun, toony themes :V
Also I was listening to various remixes of Mega Man music while I drew it? lmao so fitting rite??? /8B

You know, no matter how old the game gets, I'm always going to love this game just like all the other fans. Crash and a bunch of other platform characters were just classic and definitely timeless. Anyway, I just love your take on all the characters, especially Cortex. The traditional coloring is simply gorgeous and I wish I could do all that haha. But still, VERY NICE JOB!

So, what's the story behind this picture? It has a lot to it.

Well, I started by sketching Cortex, randomly. The little comic-panel theme just sprang up as an idea. I then sketched Crash and Brio after I thought about the possibility of them starting a battle where they both drank mutagen. I finished the sketch with Fake Crash (because I wanted to draw him) in the corner to fill it out, then I could make a full picture out of it. The colourscheme came together as I went along. And to make the panel with Cortex seem a little dangerous, I put that red lighting in the background. I imagine a scenario where, one of his facilities has just been compromised by someone? Maybe. Lastly I added and coloured the 'CRASH' at the top. It doesn't get any more specific than that, I'm afraid. I just put some random ideas together as they came to me. It isn't attached to a specific story/comic idea or anything. Though I could easily lift the ideas from this pic and utilise them for such things.
A lot of this incidental Crash art borders on stream-of-consciousness while I'm doing it, to be honest o3o
