I finally found a composition idea I liked, so here we are! A Crash 3 poster, finally.Crash 3 was the first Crash I played. My sister got it for her birthday, but we all shared the Playstation, and I was the one who got most quickly obsessed with it, wanting the first two games soon after. Back then I loved Crash, Coco, and their loyal steeds, Pura, Polar and Baby T the most. It wasn't until later that I grew to love the badguys too. Now, I probably appreciate it most for introducing one of my MOST fave characters- Dr. Nefarious Tropy :3
This one took hours. At least five, if not longer in total @_@ I took to colouring sections of it intermittently throughout Sunday, between the other stuff I was doing. Coloured with markers, and all the usual.
Currently, I'm back into Crash, playing with designs, setup and ideas for the comic. The setup is almost painfully slow XD I still have so much to do. But hey! I might have some Crash comics done by the summer holidays. Maybe.

I'm a big fan of the first Crash Bandicoot games (PSX Era), and this drawing is just amazing. I can't find anything 'wrong' here. I just love it.

My goodness, this is bloomin' wonderful.
I love the contrast of blue and crimson, everything about this picture is masterfully composed and lit. The style in which you drew the characters is a wonderful enhancement to the supreme feeling of nostalgia in this poster. Great work man, looking forward to more.

When I saw this thumbnail the first thing I thought was "Great composition," then I laughed when that turned out to be the 5th word in your description. Great work!

I noticed one thing: when you're was a kid and just met with game/book/film and etc at the beginning you love only protagonists but when you got older you start to love antagonists too (or just antagonists and forgot about your love to protagonists)! I don't know why this happens but... This happens (WTF I just said?)!

Yeah, it's interesting. It happened to me with everything I liked. As soon as I became a teenager, I wasn't as focused on how cool the heroes were, and I started to become interested in badguys because they were often more interesting. A lot of badguys have lots of flaws that make them interesting, rounded people, while a lot of heroes have few flaws or none at all, so they come off as being 'flat' characters. This is probably why villains have a huge majority in my list of favourite characters XD

Also I'm interested in elements of some villians appearences. Sometimes our tastes can surprise: we like persons with blue/yellow/green skin and weird attributes (rocket in N. Gin's head, Brio's bolts,Β the "N" letter in Cortex's forehead...) and interesting outfits (like Tropy's armor. I just noticed that it reminds me of steampunk style!).
