Here's some more random, out-of-nowhere fanart of an obscure series! Insektors is a french CGI animated series that was made in 1994, dubbed into several other languages, and shown in several countries, UK included.

Insektors is basically a show about a war between industrialist bugs (the Beurks/Yuks/Kruds) and nature-loving bugs (the Joyces/Verigreens). The Kruds chop and burn all the Verigreens' carefully cultivated plantlife for energy (and to keep their queen warm >_>), and the Verigreens try to stop their schemes. Much antics follow. It's pretty weird- for example, the Verigreens borderline worship a magical Rubik's cube that fell out of the sky and covered the planet in flowers (called the prism), and the main hero uses a colour-shooting guitar as a weapon. Colour that makes the Kruds happy and silly when it hits them. Okay XD gotta love it!

The UK dub was written by Teddy Kempner and Andy Secombe, and they peppered it with lots of British cultural references and witty humour, and gave the characters regional accents. This is the one I saw when I was little, and is my preferred version.

As for my actual art- I've just selected the best of the handful I've done so far and compiled it here. I mostly tried being loyal to the CGI models from the show (though some sketches are off-model, lol), but I want to start drawing them more toony and stylised. It's mostly my faves - Sinapse and Draffsack - that are featured, lmao. Beware of angst. I draw angst of everything, for every happy picture I draw ten sad ones. Sad bugs. SAD BUGS. Though I like drawing happy/silly things a lot too. Anyway, I love the show, I love the characters, I recommend it.
