Description
The big bad of the NiGHTS series, and creator of NiGHTS and the Nightmaren. And my fave NiGHTS character >u>I always thought he had a totally sick design and a menacing presence. Unfortunately he's far too easily beaten in his boss battles XD Anyway I've gained a new appreciation for his character upon my revisit. And I'm a chronic sucker for badguys so it's not a surprise to me at all lmfao
This was another one and done sketch which I photocopied to colour. And I spent a lot longer on it than I planned to because I have no restraint
I combined elements of his original design with his JoD design.
Fun fact: the dude who plays his voice in Journey of Dreams (Roger L. Jackson) also voiced Willie Wumpa Cheeks according to IMDB XD VERSATILE OR WHAT

This looks so cool! I love the way you shaded the cloak. (That looks like it took a while! ) I remember playing NiGHTS as a kid, but somehow, I had no idea it was a full series until right now lol. I only had the one game, and it didn't occur to me there were more.

Thank you! The cloak was one of the main reasons it took me two hours more than I thought I would spend on it XD I just couldn't force myself to accept the colouring job as it was in the early stages, so I ended up working on it more and more until I was finally pleased enough. I feel like I get this way with faves a lot haha
Well, it is a series in as much as it does at least have a sequel (released on the Wii in 2007- it wasn't very well received >_>). But no more than that, yet ;u; only two full games in a whole 24 years...

Haha, well I'd say those extra hours really paid off! That's a shame that the franchise hit a dead end so quickly. I'm now realizing that the one I played as a kid was actually the sequel. Maybe I'll track down the original one day...
