"Okay, now keep your body low to the ground." meowed Bumblebee to Sari; the yellow and black-striped tom was watching the she-cat from on top of a flat rock, "Remember, you have to keep your weight even. Don't want the prey to hear you."

Sari tossed her head and let out a meow of laughter. "If there's any prey around here, I don't think that it'll be me they're hearing, you loud furball."

"Hey! Who's the mentor here?" Bumblebee meowed back in mock indignation. The pair had decided to go patrolling by themselves in the forest north of the Twolegplace. Bumblebee found it very similar to the forest back home. Though the WindClan cat much prefered hunting in the in the moorlands, Optimus had taught him some techniques to forest hunting which he decided to pass on to Sari. So far, the kitty-pet had proved to be quite the hunter.

Sari finishing burying her newly caught mouse and gazed down at the spot, deep in thought. Suddenly, she lifted her head and turned to face Bumblebee, ruby-eyes narrowed.

"Bumblebee, I don't want to hunt anymore." She meowed.

Bumblebee blinked in confusion and leaped off the rock to pad towards her. "Okay, then what do you want to do?" He asked.

"To fight!" came her quick reply.

Bumblebee took a surprised pawstep back. "What?!"

"I want you to teach me to fight like a real warrior!" Sari meowed, jumping to her paws; her tail lashing back and forth with excitement. "I want to help you guys fight against BloodClan!"

"No way." Bumblebee meowed, furiously shaking his golden head. "There's no way you are going to face any BloodClan cats. Those guys are dangerous, Sari! I don't want you to get hurt." He flicked one of his ears and turned away. "Besides, you'rea kittypet. There's no way you can handle warrior moves."

He let out a yowl of surprise when something landed heavily on his shoulders and knocked him to the ground. Fighting instincts kicked in when he quickly rolled onto his back in order to face his attacker. He let out a "Oof" when two paws thrusted forward and pressed down on his chest, pinning him to the ground. Bumblebee looked up into the face of his attacker and so two ruby-filled eyes gleaming with mischevious delight.

"You mean like that?" Sari meowed, letting out a purr of laughter at the shocked look on Bumblebee's face.

"That's not fair!" Bumblebee whined, wriggling from underneath her weight. "You caught me by surprise, that's all!"

"Yeah right, just like how I'll take those BloodClanners by surprise!" Sari playfully bickered back at him. The slim she-cat leaned down close to Bumblebee and pressed her muzzle to his; the WindClan warrior froze, shocked by the tender gesture.

"Bumblebee," she murmured, locking her eyes with that of Bee's. A trace of exasperation was in her voice as well as another emotion that Bumblebee couldn't read. "I'm not a kit anymore."

With that, Sari gracefully leaped off Bumblebee and began to delicately head deeper into the forest. Bumblebee slowly back to sitting position and stared after Sari. It took a couple of long moments before the meaning of her words truly hit him. Sari really wasn't the tiny kitten that Optimus's team had met when they first arrived to the Twolegplace. The cute, round-faced kit he had befriended had transformed into slender, full-grown....beautiful...she-cat. How in StarClan's name had he missed it?

"Well, are you coming or not?" Sari called back to him, eyes bright. "We still have to finish the patrol, you know."

For some reason, a feeling of warmth spread through him; he remembered how close the two of them had been a moment before and let out a shiver.

"Right..." Bumblebee slowly meowed. He ruffled his fur, trying to shake off the weird feelings that had overcome him. "Do you want me to teach you a couple of WindClan fighting moves on the way?"

He wasn't expecting it when Sari to bound up to him and gave his ear a quick lick. "Oh thank you Bumblebee! Come on!"

She waited for Bumblebee to get to his paws before padding forward into the leafy froliage. Bumblebee walked along aside her and, after but a moment of hesitation, plucked up the courage to intertwine his tail with herself. A purr of delight rose when she didn't pull away. Together, the two continued on their patrol, pelts brushing, side by side.

Meh, my finals are tomorrow so I made this to help relieve the stress. The Sari/Bee mush shall consume your soul. At least it's not another Bulky/Tulip pic (though I'm working on another of those as well). Anywho, hope you guys enjoy!
