Description
Edit: I'm putting a "palette version" here. The final version will be in the book. :3Bram and Vlad's ancestors/major characters of the Dracula novel. Because I have tons of things to do, but I didn't want to do any of them.
Also because I'll colour them (you will see only two coloured), put awesome descriptions and use them in the printed version of Bram & Vlad! o (Don't get too excited, it'll be in Portuguese, at first. The English version probably will be ready just next year. Oh, well.)
Can you guess who is who? Tip: except for Dracula, everyone is in the order in which they appear in the book.

OK, screw this game, I want to make some comments about the designs. They are Count Dracula - when he is rejuvenated, Jonathan Harker, Wilhelmina "Mina" Harker, Lucy Westenra, Arthur "Art" Holmwood, John "Jack" Seward, Quincey Morris and Abraham Van Helsing.
The Count (Vlad's grandfather) is pretty much the same I posted here: strixvanallen.deviantart.com/a… . I just made him smiling to show his pointed teeth.
Jonathan was fun to draw. The book stresses that he looks like a calm and common businessman... until you know that he carries a bowie knife and intends to kill a vampire with it. Alone. When I drew his moustache, I knew he was perfect. XD He is Lucy's great-great-grandfather, and one of the inspirations for Vlad's personality ('cause I didn't want to make Vlad a sociopathic serial rapist like the Count is portrayed in the book).
Mina was a challenge, but I like how she turned out. The hair strands are there just to make a connection between she and Lucy (my Lucy, not the book one).
Lucy Westenra is shown here giggling, with her bite marks. She is one of the inspirations for Bessie's personality (the other is Carmilla). I should have looked for victorian hairstyles to design her, but I was lazy and went with her in her sickness, using only a nightgown and untied hair. Sue me.
The sad fellow is Arthur Holmwood. Lucy and Mina say that he has curly hair, so curly hair I gave him. I tried to give him a slight resemblance to Prof. Van Helsing, because the book says that Arthur is what the professor's son could be if he had survived until adulthood. Fun fact: Artie form Bram & Vlad is blond, but I see Arthur from Dracula as a redhead. I guess I ddn't make Artie a redhead because I wanted him to be different enough from Bram.
Next to him, Dr. Seward. Lucy says he is handsome, has a strong jaw and is basically a rich nerd. I gave him glasses because I like men with glasses and him and Jonathan are the only ones that I can imagine wearing the glassy goods. His great-great-grandson is Johnny. I changed his nickname because shut up, I wanted to.
Quincey Morris is a pain. I don't have a clear picture of him in my head, so, I made something very different from the others as a experience. I'll probably redesign him later. It's probably a spoiler (or not), but he have a descendent, too, and this descendent will appear in the strips. Someday.
Prof. Van Helsing didn't change much from his first design (here: strixvanallen.deviantart.com/a… . I tried to be faithful to his description (it's VERY detailed), but my poor skills made me take some little liberties here and there (no way I was doing a taller forehead, it would screw my drawing, and I'm not sure I got the hairstyle Mina described). His hair is as curly as Arthur's and Bram's, but he put lots of... huh... that product I don't know the name in English, but that keep you hair nice and smooth (and hard as if it's made of stone). Bram is his great-great-great-grandson.

Please allow me to compliment you once again on your depiction of the DRACULA Dramatis Personae - I'm especially pleased to see that we share a Pet Theory that Lord Godalming and the Good Professor share their hair & eye colour (courtesy of that equation of "Art" with Van Helsing's late son), though my own opinion is that Van Helsing should have naturally straight hair to help make it reasonably clear that they're not blood relations.
I'm also oddly taken with your moustachioed Mr Harker - it's an unusually butch look for him or at least less clean cut than is common for that poor tourist - and find his minor resemblance to Doctor Seward quite fitting (one imagines a certain amount of Good Humour based on their shared christian name).
As for Mr Morris I'd say you've done him credit - he certainly looks like he'd be as much at home in a Western as a Gothic Horror, which seems entirely appropriate!

I'm all for a less doe-eyed Harker, always. XD

But if Mister Harker isn't a doe-eyed teacher's pet of a Solicitor how on Earth will his Inner Hobbit come out properly?

Doubtless one involving railway schedules and Madam Mina! (not necessarily in that order).

Done it; now to finish my history of the North of Scotland Hydro-Electric Board (or why Socialist projects can work even when done by Capitalists).
