Description
If you don't understand why Vlad is so willing to give Bram "red lemonade", take another look on this strip:I know that it's been more than a year since I revealed that Bram is a half-vampire and I haven't touched the issue again (actually, I had, but it was so stealthily done that you probably didn't catch it). I planned to do a little written special to explain this, but since it's taking forever, I'll give you a little series of three strips to explain it. Also, it's always worth noting that time in my strips flows slowly than time in real world. You've been waiting more than a year for Bram's half-blood status to be mentioned again. Johnny merely waited a couple of months.

No Vlad.
I understand where he is coming from, though. I'd say him and Tyrian could have a talk but a: No Alicia, that's a terrible idea and b: they'd both just get all sad probably ;_;

Vlad would probably be angry and hit Tyrian, he doesn't like to show "weakness".
And, fortunately for Bram, Vlad is terrible in lying.

Haha, well, I can see Tyr getting sad after about 5 seconds and having to leave. He doesn't mind crying in front of people he's close to, but others he's very much so not okay with it. ..and he's actually a terrible crybaby. ^-^;

I had to read Vlad's lines and then re-read the comic before the "red lemonade" line worked.
Here in Scotland we have cherryade and red kola which are both red, and I guess a lemonade recipe would work with blood oranges instead of lemons.

I guesss the problem here is the word "rare". In the Portuguese comic, there's no ambiguity. I used a word that is only used by people to refer to uncooked meat. In English, it was not thet easy. But I don't know if there's another way to phrase it.

Ah, in English "rare" would be cooked on the outside, but still red in the middle (which is how I like a steak). Uncooked would be "raw", or possibly "tartare". If you've any plans for trying to get the strips published, having Vlad say "That's lemonade tartare!" would probably work best.

Então,o Bram é um dhampir? Legal!
Quanto a "limonada" que o Vlad está tentando servir prá ele,o mais apropriado para a ocasião é um refrão de samba que diz: "Me engana que eu gosto!"

Pelo jeito,o Vlad está tentando incrementar o "dark side" do Bram...
