here's my latest silkscreen poster for mondotees , the one and only "who framed roger rabbit?"!i feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work on a print for this amazing film. i remember how much buzz it produced when this joint came out it in 1988. revolutionary for not only its meshing of live action and animation, it also featured disney and warner brothers characters side-by-side for the first time. check out the wikipedia page for all of the interesting details.
at any rate, the poster drops at a random time today. all of the gory details follow.

Look at the buildings behind. All the windows are paired like human eyes, and all of them seem to be looking in horror towards the rabbit. This is truly genius because even the muted background is masterfully designed.

This is a pretty awesome poster for a pretty awesome movie. I love the way Roger is framed out, the use on contrast is great and my favourite part is probably that there's no white. Pure color and everything works out so well. And the way you drew the goop, oh, that's stellar as well. It's all the little touches like the toon town buildings in the background, and the way Jessica Rabbit is on stage. They come together beautifully.
