Description
here's my latest silkscreen poster for mondotees , the one and only "who framed roger rabbit?"!i feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work on a print for this amazing film. i remember how much buzz it produced when this joint came out it in 1988. revolutionary for not only its meshing of live action and animation, it also featured disney and warner brothers characters side-by-side for the first time. check out the wikipedia page for all of the interesting details.
at any rate, the poster drops at a random time today. all of the gory details follow.
poster specs:
• 4 color screenprint on cougar natural 100# cover stock
• size: 18" x 24"
• limited edition of 210
sale info:
• date: fri, apr 8
• time: random (follow @MondoNews for a hint!)
• where: mondotees

Composition is full, but balanced.
I love the color scheme.
I think particularly the inclusion of the circles of other characters adds information without overwhelming, and it draws the eye to the day and time of the event.
Very successful poster, I'd say.

That movies is awesome! It's the only movie where you will see Mickey Mouse and Bugs Bunny in the same scene! Two of the greatest cartoon characters ever! Anyway, excellent work!
